Over the coming weeks we will be introducing members of our team to you, kick starting off with Maria who has joined Fuse Architects as Associate Director and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in both planning and technical delivery in the residential, commercial, leisure and retail sectors across the UK and Europe. Maria is currently leading our work on retail repurposing, maximising value on a number of our clients’ retail assets, through incorporating the delivery of residential units of a variety of tenures including retirement, private rented and affordable housing. Maria is also looking at a number of modular solutions to infill sites across London, making use of underutilised land.

Working on several large sites, both in town and city centre as well as in more suburban locations, Maria is currently delivering large residential and mixed-use planning applications and investigating site solutions for clients on large areas of under-utilised retail and commercial land.

Maria is our in-house conservation expert, with experience of delivering schemes in conservation areas and working with listed buildings across the UK. Additionally, she is a BREEAM and LEED accredited professional as well as a Recognised Practitioner in urban design and applies these skills to her projects to maximise value for clients.
